Morgantown is a city located in Monongalia County, West Virginia, in the north-central region of the state, and situated along the banks of the Monongahela River. Morgantown is best known as the home of both West Virginia University. The city has a total area of 10.62 square miles, and has a population of approx 29,660 people.

| Morgantown Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Morgantown Fire Department - Operations Division consists of 42 personnel and is responsible for all aspects of emergency response. This division is the largest and most recognizable part of the department and is what the public commonly views as their fire department. The Operations Division is divided into three crews. Each crew has 11 firefighters, 2 lieutenants and is led by a division captain. The crews work 24-hour shifts, staffing the three stations located throughout the city. They currently operate a first response program but do not transport patients. Specialized response teams include Fire/Arson Investigation, Specialized Rescue, Haz-Mat, and SCUBA/Water Rescue.
The City of Morgantown FD has a Class 3 ISO rating.
